An Invitation to the Serizawa Bungaku Aikoukai (The Kojiro Serizawa Society).
@
The Serizawa Bungaku Aikoukai was organized in 1978 by the people who love Kojiro Serizawa, his life, his works and his words. The Aikoukai is an international in its scope and welcome Serizawa fans from all over the world no matter how far people already knew about his works. One of the main activities of the Aikoukai is a Sunday-afternoon monthly reading circle at Higashinakano Regional Center (near by Higashinakano station of So-Bu line, JR East) and about 20 people who belong to all different kinds of professions and ages are gathering from Tokyo area. The atmosphere of the circle is rather informal and people enjoy talking about how they thought after reading the particular works (assigned as a text) and their favorite novelist, Serizawa. Surprisingly enough, this reading circle has been held every single month continuously for more than 26 years! There are several benefits to be the Aikoukai member such as all the members receive photocopies of Serizawafs limited availability (or out of prints) novels and essays by mail every month and members are feel free (no obligation) to attend the monthly reading circle to exchange their thoughts and information about Serizawafs literatures.
To join the Aikoukai, please send a note including your name and e-mail address to the Webmaster at tubaman@juno.ocn.ne.jp. The details about the membership will be informed by an e-mail.
